A Coffee Fortune Teller and A Prince

Hello, this is Ece. I hope you are all doing well. I’m here to teach some English because it is my passion. In this article, I will try to use as many B1 collocations as possible to help you improve your English.
I have a very good relationship with my best friend. We always stay in contact with each other, even though we sometimes have arguments.
One day, we decided to make an appointment with a coffee fortune teller. We were very excited about it, so we immediately contacted the coffee fortune center and went there.
However, when we arrived, we had some trouble with our appointment. We found out that the fortune teller we wanted to see had another appointment at the same time. They really didn’t show much respect for their clients. But anyway, since we were very interested in coffee fortune telling and tarot, we decided to wait for her.
All of a sudden, it was our turn. She told me something that I could not believe. She said that I would be successful in my career and that I would become a diplomat in the future. I was shocked because I was studying international relations at that time.
After that, she also told me that I would marry a prince. She even said that if these things did not come true in the future, she would quit her job.
So far, I haven’t found my Prince Charming yet, and I haven’t become a diplomat either. But if one of these things happens in the next few years, I will definitely let you know.
