Friends, Clubs and School Rules

One sunny morning, Mina and Dora went to school together. They were very excited because their teacher said students could join a club this week.
“I want to join the music club,” said Mina happily.“Me too!” said Dora. “I love singing and dancing.”
They talked about it in the classroom, and they imagined themselves as famous singers.
Suddenly, Tarcan and Efekan heard their conversation.
“That sounds amazing!” said Tarcan.“Yes! We want to join the music club too!” said Efekan.
During lunch, the four friends went to the canteen and talked about all the school clubs.
“There is also a sports club, a drama club, and a chess club,” said Dora.
Tarcan said, “But the music club is the coolest!”
However, the next day something funny happened.
Tarcan and Efekan were talking loudly in the classroom and laughing a lot. The teacher looked at them and said,
“Please remember the school rules. Good students must follow rules.”
Tarcan and Efekan felt embarrassed.
After school they talked together.
“Maybe we should join another club,” said Tarcan.
“Why?” asked Efekan.
Tarcan answered, “Because if we join the chess club, the teacher will see that we can follow rules.”
Efekan agreed.
Meanwhile, Mina and Dora joined the music club. They sang songs and laughed a lot.
Tarcan and Efekan joined the chess club, and they learned how to think carefully.
One afternoon the four friends met in the library. They read books together and prepared a small presentation for their teacher.
Finally, they presented their work in the classroom.
Their teacher smiled and said,
“Great job! You all worked very hard.”
Fourth grade was very fun for Mina, Dora, Tarcan, and Efekan because they learned new things, made friends, and enjoyed their time at school.
